Week 65: Milagres e uma mudança

So this week we decided to fast to have a baptism next week. We have been meeting a lot of neat people this week, but a lot of them weren't able to go to church or are having other difficulties, so we decided to put our faith in God and fast to find someone. Sunday morning we went to bring people to church and the family that we were most sure would go ended up sleeping in and the other people we invited bailed at the last minute. So we were walking to church and my companion had the thought to pass by the house of a guy we had met recently and hadn't really taught yet. We didn't have a ton of time but we decided to go, and it turned out that he was awake and willing to go to church. While he got ready we prayed and gave thanks for the miracle. He turned out to be the only person who went that day.

We got to church and it was awesome, like it always is. The guy we brought, Junior, made friends with all the YSAs and our Ward Mission Leader (quem é muito mole e não ajuda muito) offered to go visit him with us.

But God super loves us and if that wasn't enough, we were talking with some of the youth after the service and my companion found out that one of the young women (who's there pretty much every week since I've been in this ward) has not, in fact, been baptized due to a few complications that we will resolve this week. And so, I just wanted to bear testimony that when we fast and pray in faith, if it is the will of the Lord, He will make miracles happen in our lives.

Also we moved houses! Instead of having each of the two duplas in this ward with their own house, we are living together now, which has been wild. We were living in an apartment over a mechanic, which I loved, but now we're in a house that's a bit bigger and it's been a good time.

It's been a good week. 10/10 would recommend. Love y'all!
